My horse Trouble Maker won last time over this distance and going in 2.57 and I was hopeful for this race, Would appreciate any advice.
Look at the pace of the race and how the winner likes to race. Your maiden 4th also behind this winner holds the key
My horse won the same distance and track conditions and now runs 10 lengths slower ad loses? Personally pace is used too often as an excuse . JMO
You asked for advice. Perhaps you should consider that over reliance of times as an indicator of racing ability leads to the question you ask. You cannot ignore pace and your horse needs lots of it.
I ran 2.57 last two times. Why cant my horse run it again?? My horse was fastest in the race and is a crying shame where it finished. Thanks so much for the advice though Jim.
